Klaara-Manni has its roots in gardening, and in our organic garden, nature lives and breathes in every bed, every seed, and every harvest. Our kitchen relies on what we grow ourselves – most of the vegetables, herbs, and spices are grown right here, in the fertile soil of our own land. We operate according to sustainable principles, valuing organic farming, nature conservation, and conscious food culture.
Adding value to garden produce is a natural part of life for us: we preserve the taste of summer in the cellar, pantry, and freezer, to share it even when the garden rests under snow.
Our gardening workshops invite you to discover, because nature, gardening, and cooking together are a creative art. Here, there are no right or wrong answers – you just need to trust your feelings, experiment, and let nature inspire you.
In the organic garden, we discuss organic farming and the difference between organically grown vegetables and those enhanced with chemical fertilizers. We also prepare handmade lemonades or smoothies.

Let’s discover nature’s hidden treasures together and learn how to prepare simple, delicious, and healthy dishes from them! Often we find weeds in the garden that we don’t want there, but they hold true power – we can use them in our food and beauty care. In the workshop, we will look at which ‘weeds’ are in the garden during different seasons and approach them from a different, positive perspective. You might even start to love weeds! In the workshop, various pestos and smoothies are prepared according to the season. We will share tips from our kitchen with participants, which we use daily to treat our guests.

Soil is the invisible kitchen of plants, where a true gourmet experience takes place — a vibrant community teeming with micro-life that nourishes and sustains all life. In the “Soil Gourmet” workshop, we will get closer to this secret world to understand how nature itself grows its plants.
We will visit the production of Matogard OÜ , which is located just 3 km from Klaara-Manni Holiday Home, and learn how various growing substrates are created. We will explore soil microbiology, talk about composting, and the actual nutrient needs of plants – how to find the balance between living soil and a healthy plant.
This workshop is suitable for everyone who values organic farming, conscious gardening, and the rhythms of nature. Come and discover how to think of soil as a living being – and why true fertility begins precisely where the eye can no longer see.

Let’s step into our root cellar and take a journey into the world of preserving. We’ll share how we grow our ingredients, which fruits we jar, what principles we follow for preserving, and how our recipes are created. It’s important that we handle food sustainably — we don’t waste, we respect nature, and we reuse.
In the workshop, we will select several preserves from the cellar, which we will taste alongside homemade baked goods. Additionally, we will prepare kama, which we will season according to the season — for example, with mint or fresh berries. This is an authentic and educational experience that opens a new perspective on the value of local food.
